A few of the various female figures
available for eFrontier Poser 7 and Daz|Studio.

There are a great many commercial and free 3d human models available for both
Poser 4 to Poser 7 and Daz Studio.
This is a short article detailing a few of the female figures starting with:
Posette (the P4 Nude Female) comes free with all versions of Poser
from 4 to 7. She is a low polygon figure and is still popular with animators.
Posette even has her own fan base at
Posetteforever.
Victoria 2
(see image to the left) was a upgrade to Daz3d's Victoria the Millennium
Woman figure, with a huge amount of morphs added for extra versatility.
Victoria 1 and Victoria 2 both share the same geometry, grouping and UVs meaning
that they can share items of clothing and textures. Included with Victoria 2 was
was the V2P4 model, the Millennium Woman mesh, reshaped and regrouped to match
Posette the P4 Nude woman so that she could make use of the
multitude of clothes, poses and hair that was then available for Posette, but
incorporating Victoria 1&2's head morphs and using her superior textures.
comparison of some of the different textures available for Victoria 2 (and
Victoria 1).
Victoria 3 was the next step up and incorporated the morph injection
technique so that a user could inject only the morphs they needed, thus saving
bogging down their computers with huge memory hogging figures, however many
people objected to this extra step. She is also a
high polygon figure, and has many, many realistic textures, clothing, hair and
character sets available.
Victoria
3 RR is a lower polygon count version of Victoria 3.
All her morphs are preloaded so there is no messing around with morph
injections. She is one of my favourite figures as she is lighter on your system
than Victoria 3 but still looks good and is very versatile.
Stephanie
Petite
(SP3) was created from the
Victoria 3 polygon mesh (as was Aiko 3, Michael 3, David and the Freak) a
technique known as "Unimesh". She can use
Victoria 3's textures (with a tiny difference in the mapping) but not her
clothing. Most hair props can be refitted to her by simple scaling of he x,y,z
dials. She is much more slightly built than V3 and is an excellent choice for portraying
younger women. Renderosity has for sale
a character for Stephanie Petite by the merchant Blackhearted called
Irina. With Irina he has produced a beautifully sculpted toned but slim
musculature, very realistic and a big hit.

Aiko 3 is Manga/Anime inspired figure by Daz3d.
She is based on the V3 Unimesh and can share textures with Victoria 3 and
Stephanie Petite. If you buy the Morphs and Poses package to upgrade her there
is an extra figure included Aiko realistic, a stylised teenage looking model but
with a more human and less anime face. The Akio 3 Realistic seems to be a very
popular model with lots of clothing, textures and pose sets available for it.
Victoria 4.1 (see render on the left) is Daz's new flagship figure. She is a huge leap forward in
technology and usability but there have been complaints that she is not as
realistic looking straight from the box as
Victoria 3. This is just a matter of personal taste and in my opinion she is
very easily morphed by just turning a few dials into very convincingly real
characters.
